Mr Tom Garvey on behalf of UNBEATEN PATH INTERNATIONAL, has delivered the software that allows BPCS to import customer orders from the TELXON machines. The programs were tested using data from Consumer Clients and the results were highly satisfactory. In this preliminary test, 44 orders, with a total of 688 product/quantity lines were read, validated and processed to update regular BPCS files in less than 5 minutes. A small error in one of the programs avoids that an order may be edited or corrected, but Mr. Staab assured that the correction will be properly sent.
The software will be completely tested for the next month, while Sales support personnel will be properly trained, before the expected implementation on July 27th.
I must emphasize Mr Garvey's excellent contribution to the project and the highly valuable cooperation of the Unbeaten Path team which helped this project to be finished well and on time.
