Subject: Thank you
Milt,
I just wanted to thank you for your openness to discussions like we had last
night about the rightness of taking certain actions, within the liberties we
have as Christians.
I know that discussions like that would be unthinkable, or certainly short-lived,
in a typical secular business environment. If one has ethical misgivings about
a certain course of action, most employees would jeopardize their jobs even
bringing the subject up. I know, I've been there. So, thanks for being a strong
enough Christian to allow your stance on a given action to be openly questioned
and discussed. I appreciate it.
I also want to thank you, Ellen, for being such a faithful, wise wife to your
husband. Milt told us that you and he came to the decision last night after
our discussion, and I'm pretty sure this is not the first time you have been
engaged in tough decisions with Milt.
Milt, I believe you have made the right decision. My heart is better about his
now and I hope yours is as well. Whatever the outcome, I believe that we can
now stand before Christ and say we did what our hearts lead us to do. And remember
that those who are lead by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Tom
