RUMBERR@ihfp.comHi Tom. You’re very welcome for the help with NIH [Needle in a Haystack]. I always welcome new ideas and challenges. I have enjoyed working with you, your UPI co-workers, and all of your products on the Y2K project.
Don Chrobot [Vice President IS, International Home Foods] has given me permission to talk to your interested customers. I am also looking forward to testing the changes to NIH you described. I feel they will really enhance the current product and make it a more viable solution for IHF.

tgarvey@execpc.comDear Ralph,
I wanted to thank you for your help with Needle In a Haystack, serving as a beta test site for us. It was heartening to hear you say that you wished you had Needle available several weeks earlier, to help you find the problem your team was experiencing in the order processing area. I was glad to hear that your grasp of Needle's purpose and abilities would have made that problem much smaller and of shorter duration. I also want to encourage your efforts in passing along to your supervisors the information that Needle has uncovered about your system, and the possible costs and savings that these uncovered irregularities could reveal.
I was wondering whether you would entertain the idea of accepting a phone call from an interested customer who would like a non-Unbeaten Path person to affirm Needle's capabilities? We have not had any customer we've contacted request this of us, but since we don't yet have a testimonial letter, we would like to be able to say we have a satisfied customer.
Again, I appreciate your helpfulness and quick attention to actually trying Needle In a Haystack.
Warm regards, Tom
