Regarding Tom Garvey:

I have worked with Tom since the Spring of 1993. Tom has assisted SSA in projects ranging from rewriting major applications using SSA's AS/SET CASE tool, work in RPG/400 and CL, to working on maintenance teams fixing incidents that our clients have reported.

I have found Tom to be a talented programmer/analyst, able to tackle the most difficult jobs with ease and enthusiasm. I feel comfortable working with Tom, knowing that I do not have to worry about the tasks assigned him.

Although the phrase is over-used, Tom is a "self-starter." Once given a problem, the scope, and the deadline, Tom will get the job done.

Tom illustrates another quality that I find important -- caring about more than just his immediate "to-do'' list. He makes sure that his tasks complete on time and then checks if anyone else needs help in order to help the entire project hits the milestones planned.

I would happily work with Tom on any other project in the future.
